This Collection of Musical Stories is available worldwide on all streaming platforms from 12 December 2024 and on compact disc. The album marks Hose’s first foray back into original music in over a decade, featuring 11 unique compositions that blend cinematic storytelling with deeply personal reflections on his life’s journey in music.
In addition to the digital release, Anthology Volume One will also be available on Compact Disc, with a special Deluxe Edition offered for collectors and appreciators of independent music releases. The Deluxe Edition includes a beautifully crafted 30-page photo book filled with behind-the-scenes imagery and original artwork inspired by each track on the album, giving listeners an intimate view into the creative process behind Hose’s latest work.

Anthology Volume One is much more than a collection of tracks—it’s a sonic journey across diverse landscapes, from the golden age of Hollywood and 1970s cop shows to the intimacy of theatre and the unknown realms of futuristic space travel. Featuring collaborations with guitarist Lee Wrathe and producer Dan Dodson, as well as a special appearance by Jack Hose, each track showcases a unique musical scene, brought to life through Hose’s imaginative compositions and eclectic instrumentation.
Reflecting on the album’s inspiration, Paul Hose describes Anthology Volume One as a “homecoming,” a project that reconnected him to his roots in music and allowed him to rediscover the joy of creating.
This album is deeply personal. It was born out of a need to reconnect with the music that has been a constant companion since my childhood. Over the years, my focus shifted towards education and helping others achieve their musical dreams, but in doing so, my own creative voice grew quiet. This album marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I couldn’t be prouder of the result.
